The sun was shining, the sky was as blue as the sea, the veil was sitting perfectly on Sha’Dare’s head, and friends and family were patiently anticipating being witnesses to this stunning couple as they tied the knot. It was the moment they’d be dreaming of their entire lives: their wedding day. The day Sha’Dare and Joshua would become husband and wife and make an everlasting promise and commitment with God. These partners had known for a while who would be at the end of the aisle, and they couldn’t wait to see those signature smiles when they finally laid eyes on each other! Finally, it was here.
The morning was filled with the excited nerves that every bride making the best decision of her life is bound to feel. The dress fit Sha’Dare like a glove and was carefully fluffed by her bridesmaids. Her hair was perfection and she completed her wedding look by gently placing a crown on top. Her fun choice of shoes showcased her personality and made her feel like a modern Cinderella. Speaking of fairytales, Sha’Dare didn’t want any car or stretch limo to sweep her into this next chapter of life. She opted in for a chariot to take her to the ceremony site where the love of her life was waiting. Her veil fell around her and blew gently in the breeze as she stepped out of the horse-drawn carriage and laid eyes on all the people who loved her most.
But she could only concentrate on one face. The one who would soon swear to care for her in sickness and health, to carry her burdens and love her like Jesus for the entirety of their lives. The sun shone brightly in the Arizona sky as she made her way to him, raw emotion filling the space between them. There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd, mine included, as they shared heartfelt and handwritten vows.
Sha’Dare and Joshua’s Chateau Luxe wedding was one for the books with the sheer amount of joy that occupied every part of it. The way these two looked at each other all day served as a visual reminder of the power and joy of real, true love. Everyone deserves to find someone who loves them the way those two love each other. Their one request to me was for their day to be a reflection of their fun-loving yet refined, romantic personalities. And they absolutely nailed it! It was a true honor to be able to capture their love and these incredible moments!
