Our world is full of so many sweet things – apple pie, cupcakes, ice cream, you name it! But there is truly nothing sweeter than the incredible Ruth family, who I had the pleasure of meeting this past fall. As a photographer, I love getting to capture joy-filled moments for families. These four made that SO easy! They had recently relocated to AZ, so we had the best time exploring their new surroundings during this desert photo shoot!
A camera is one of the only ways we have to freeze time. I love thinking about this precious family looking back and reliving this season of their life in 5, 10, or even 20 years. Moving cross-country is hard, and doing it with a 3 and 5-year-old adds a whole new layer to that! According to Kelly, though, her favorite thing about her family is how close they are. Moving has brought them all even closer together! I am so happy we were able to document how it feels to be in this new space, holding onto each other with everything they’ve got. It is clear that together is their favorite place to be.
Do you need to refresh your family photos? I highly recommend taking them every 1-2 years because kids grow and change so quickly!
