I am for the romantics, the dreamers, the joy-filled couples who want to be in the moment and know the vision they’ve entrusted to me will be beautifully and thoughtfully captured.
AKP was born out of a passion for capturing the authentic joy and beauty individuals and couples bring to the world. I love building relationships with my clients and getting to know the heart of the people in front of my lens. But above all, when with your loved ones, your photo experience should strengthen your bond with one another.

A southern girl through and through, I was born and raised on a farm in Kentucky. One of the first things I learned was how to stop and smell the roses (literally)! As I got older, went off to college and studied to become a teacher, I just about forgot how to do that.
I met the love of my life in 2014, and about two years later I found myself planning my own wedding day! I soon realized I desperately needed a day that wasn’t rushed from one thing to the next, but was focused on celebrating our love and taking in the once in a lifetime moments that would fill the day. I needed a photographer who understood that and was willing to take it all in with me (and have fun doing it!). After trading in my classroom supplies for my camera, I am passionate about being that photographer for you. I believe in a luxury, stress-free photo experience that allows you to revel in your most joyful moments.
