Joy has always been the driving force behind my photography journey. Capturing the pure joy and happiness that others feel as they celebrate life’s sweetest seasons is what inspires me to keep pressing that shutter. It’s what makes me excited to scroll through hundreds of images after a session or wedding day. I love being able to freeze these fleeting moments in time—allowing couples and families to revisit them years down the road and relive the emotion all over again.
One of the greatest joys of this work is walking alongside couples through different seasons of their lives. Getting to photograph them as their love story grows and their family expands is the honor of a lifetime! That’s why this Kentucky maternity session with Stephanie and Joshua was so special.
You may recognize these two from their wedding day, which was featured in Kentucky Bride magazine. Just one year later, we reunited to document another chapter of their story! This time, as they awaited the arrival of their baby boy.
Their maternity session was an absolute dream, taking place on a golden summer evening in Kentucky. The sunlight poured through the trees, and we spent the evening reminiscing on their wedding day, sharing laughs, and dreaming about the little life they’ll soon welcome. Between the the gorgeous scenery and the absolute glow of these two soon-to-be parents, I was in photographer heaven.
