The Gullet Family’s Newborn Session
Those early days of parenthood are nearly impossible to describe. You’re overflowing with joy yet running on fumes. No amount of coffee seems to keep you awake, yet the moment your baby drifts off to sleep, all you want to do is scroll through photos of their tiny, perfect face. There’s nothing quite like feeling their little fingers wrap around yours, knowing that somehow, that tiny hand holds your whole heart. It’s a season that is both delicate and breathtakingly beautiful.
In the midst of the exhaustion, you find yourself cherishing the smallest moments—the newborn scrunch when you scoop them into your arms, the way they fit so perfectly against your chest. Four weeks never feels like enough time to soak in those newborn snuggles. That’s why newborn sessions are so special—they allow you to relive those fleeting moments for years to come. An in-home newborn session makes the experience even more personal! Together, we capture your family’s love in the space where your most cherished memories are made.
This fall, the Gullet family welcomed me into their home for an in-home newborn session. It was such a joy to capture this special season for them. Their home, a beautiful blend of traditional and modern, was filled with warmth and love—every corner reflecting the care and anticipation they poured into preparing for their baby girl. Though they’ve lived there for years, home now holds an even deeper meaning.
We embraced every snuggly moment, moving from room to room and letting baby Eleanor guide the session. I never rush these sessions—whether in-home or in the studio! It’s important to allow babies to set the pace as they need to be fed, rocked, or comforted. Eleanor was an absolute rockstar, giving us the sweetest sleepy hugs and curious little glances. Even the family’s fur baby joined in, eager to watch over her new tiny human.
Scroll through to see all the sweetness of this beautiful family of four! And if you or someone you know is expecting, consider gifting them a newborn session, rather than buying something off their registry! It’s a gift that not many moms will buy themselves, but it is such a precious one to look back on! I’d love to connect with you further if I’m the photographer for you! You can reach out HERE!
